Is Spring Fever real and other interesting facts about Spring

30th Mar 2018

Everyone Loves Spring :

Everyone loves the first real Spring day, with birds singing, warm sun shining brightly and tulips and daffodils popping through the melting snow. Do you feel it? A surge of energy and the undeniable wish to run out the door !  When the temperature rises during the warm spell after a long winter, there is a dilation of the blood vessels so blood can be carried to the body surface where heat can be lost quickly. Most people feel an energetic feeling when this happens. At Chappell's Florist, our store becomes a popular destination for bunches of tulips  which we offer on "Spring Special".
