Bespoke Funeral & Sympathy Flower Arrangements for the Funeral Home, Church, Crematorium or Home Delivery

5th Apr 2018

No matter when you hear the Sympathy news, sending your condolences with flowers is always appropriate.      What is the difference between sympathy                   flowers and funeral flowers

Sympathy flowers or plants are delivered to the home (or possibly the business) of the deceased for the family. The flowers should be addressed and sent directly to the loved one personally or to the family. The bouquets or centerpieces are usually tasteful and an appropriate sized for a home setting. Tropical plants, plant gardens and blooming plants are also a popular choice. Plants have become increasingly popular as they stand as a lasting reminder of your thoughtfulness and growing and changing life. For another sympathy gift that is appreciated, fruit and cheese baskets are a wonderful choice to be enjoyed by the family and friends dropping by the home. Red roses and white roses designed are also a classic gift.

Sympathy flowers are offered in a array of colors. Ranking first today is shades of whites and greens; secondly, pastel colors and following third is bright and happy colored bouquets for the celebration of life.

Funeral Flowers for the celebration of life are delivered directly to the funeral home, crematorium or church. These floral arrangements are often large and showy, but increasingly florists are also designing vases with country garden flair and gorgeous artistic creations with the finest flower selections grown worldwide. Funeral flowers are usually not addressed to the family, but are addressed to the service of the deceased with their name included.

images-3-.jpg   I just heard - Is it too late to send flowers?

All professional florist shops place top priority on the design and expedited delivery of sympathy flowers and arrangements to the service. If a flower delivery to the service is missed, it is always appropriate and appreciated to send flowers to the home of the deceased for the family to receive and know you took the time to send your sincere condolences.

Can the florist assist me? I'm not sure where the service is held.

If you are sending flowers to a funeral which is out of your town, don't worry. Florists are experts at finding the appropriate information for you and delivering in time.

I am unsure what to say on the card.

Most cards are printed with appropriate sentiment such as " with deepest sympathy" or " with love and sympathy".

It is customary and acceptable to sign your name to this card. If you fell you wish to write more, a hand written sympathy card addressed and mailed to the family is a lovely remembrance .

I would like to send flowers to the wake and the service.

On your request, the florist can ask the funeral director to move the flowers.
